A weekly update on all things running; from race reports, training, injuries and rehab, to future plans, balancing family life and almost anything you care to imagine. If it’s going on in my world, then it’s going on here!

Bespoke running training plans built to fit around your life. I look at where your current fitness is and where you want it to be, then collaborate with you to decide on how best to get there. Plans can be produced weekly with regular feedback and adjustments, or designed as a training block for one specific target. There is also the option of face to face training sessions for individuals or groups based locally.

Working out how and when to train can be a difficult process. Using the smart plan format, I have taken complete beginners to recreational runners, 5k runners to marathon runners and experienced marathon runners to exceptional PBs. Whatever the starting point and whatever the goals, RNNNG smart plans can work with you and your lifestyle.
I have been writing plans for Fi and Marc for many years, achieving so much along the way. It’s great to see what accomplished runners they have become, whether it’s marathons, half marathons or multi day ultras!!
